Questions
What is 9K Club?
9K Club is a free browser arcade at club9k.org. It runs one game, Reach 9, a number-merging puzzle where you slide a 4x4 board and combine matching tiles until you build the 9 tile. The club is also written 9KClub, and both spellings mean the same site.
Is 9K Club free to play?
Yes. Reach 9 is free and there is nothing to buy. 9K Club has no paid tier, no in-game purchases and no payment details of any kind. Club points are a running score and cannot be bought, sold or exchanged.
Do I need an account to play?
No. There is no sign-up and no login at 9K Club. Open club9k.org and the board is ready. Your run, best score and club points are saved in your own browser storage, so clearing site data starts you fresh.
How do I win at Reach 9?
You finish the ladder by building the 9 tile. Tiles merge in pairs — two 1s make a 2, two 2s make a 3, and so on up to 9 — so reaching the top takes 256 starting tiles merged in the right order. Keep your biggest tile in one corner and slide towards it.
Does 9K Club work on a phone?
Yes. The arcade is built mobile first: swipe the board or use the on-screen pad. On a computer you can use the arrow keys or WASD. You can also add club9k.org to your home screen and it opens full screen like an app.
Is 9K Club a gambling site?
No. 9K Club is a puzzle arcade. There is no wagering, no deposit, no withdrawal and no prize. Club points exist only to track how well a run went, and they stay on your device.
Where is my 9K Club score stored?
In your browser, under a single localStorage key on your own device. It is never uploaded, so it does not follow you to another phone or another browser, and clearing site data erases it.
Why did my board disappear?
Almost always because browser storage was cleared — private browsing, a cleaning app, or clearing site data will all do it. The club has no copy to restore, because it never had one.
Can I undo more than one move?
No. Undo goes back exactly one slide, and only until you make your next move. It is there to rescue a misfire, not to let you replay a run backwards.
Does 9K Club show advertising?
No. There is no advertising network, no pop-up and no tracking pixel on club9k.org.
Which browsers does the arcade support?
Any current browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Samsung Internet and the rest, on phones, tablets and computers. The board is plain HTML and JavaScript with no plugins.
Is 9K Club the same as 9KClub?
Yes. The club is written both ways and both refer to this site, club9k.org. You may also see it written Club 9K.
